Here's someone who makes inappropriate use brackets. I understand the need for sayign "Milk (both)" where you wish to buy one pint of semi-skimmed and one of full fat, but it is NOT acceptabel shopping list etiquette to put individual items in brackets. Besides, what kind of a person lists Baileys to buy from a supermarket? Correct: only someone who thinks they can buy happiness from the frozen food cabinet. "Smily Faces" anyone?
